Job Title: Account Director, Lifestyle Public Relations

Location: New York City (Hybrid Onsite 2 Days per Week)

Job Description: Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Account Director to join their Lifestyle Public Relations team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a proven track record in managing high-profile accounts, developing strategic PR campaigns, and nurturing client relationships. This hybrid role requires a blend of in-office presence and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week onsite at their NYC headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple lifestyle PR accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, results-driven campaigns.
• Develop and execute strategic PR plans that align with clients' business objectives and enhance their brand visibility.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients on media relations, crisis communications, and brand messaging.
• Oversee and mentor a team of PR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging media opportunities to inform and adjust PR strategies.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports and insights to clients, demonstrating the impact and value of PR activities.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including pitching new business and expanding existing client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of experience in public relations, with a focus on lifestyle brands.
• Proven experience in managing high-profile accounts and leading successful PR campaigns.
• Strong media relations skills with an established network of lifestyle media contacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and pitch stories effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Proficiency in PR software and tools, including media monitoring and reporting platforms.
