Job Summary :

Aviation company located in White Oak, PA is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to monitor the finances of our growing company. The ideal candidate will process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

Duties/Responsibilities :

• Posts customer payments by recording cash, check, and credit card transactions.
• Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
• Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
• Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail.
• Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management, and cost accounting.

Required Skills/Abilities :

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles

Education and Experience :

• BS or associate’s degree in finance, Accounting or Business Administration  preferred .
• +2 year of experience in accounts receivable or accounting  preferred.

Physical Requirements :

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
