2nd Shift Manufacturing Associate – Multiple Openings (Built-In Overtime)

Location: Union, MO

Schedule: Full-Time | 2nd Shift | 48-hour workweek

Shift Differential: +$2/hr for 2nd shift

Pay: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role
Gateway Extrusions is growing and looking for dependable, hands-on Manufacturing Associates to join our 2nd shift team. Whether you’re operating machinery, moving materials, inspecting parts, or supporting production flow, your work helps keep our plant running efficiently and our customers satisfied.

Work Schedule (48-hour week)-Subject To Change:

• Monday–Thursday: 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
• Friday: 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• 48 hours per week = 8 hours of automatic overtime every week, perfect for extra holiday income.
• Overtime needs will ease after the holiday season , returning to a standard 40-hour week , still with weekends off.

What You’ll Do:
Depending on placement, responsibilities may include:

• Operating production machinery and equipment.
• Handling, moving, and preparing aluminum materials for processing.
• Inspecting parts for scratches, dents, twists, or other defects.
• Using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions.
• Packing or bundling finished material for shipment.
• Logging production data and completing routing information.
• Following instructions from leads and supervisors.
• Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and following all required PPE guidelines.

What You Bring:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation a bonus, but training available for motivated candidates.
• Strong attendance, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work the current 48-hour schedule.
