THE WORK:

Ripple Labs is expanding its BSA/AML compliance team and is hiring an Analyst, Global Investigations. We are committed to enhancing our AML programs to ensure full compliance with MSB regulatory obligations. We focus on improving global transaction analytical tools for effective monitoring of MSB transactions and activities across the Ripple protocol.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  1. Assist the Global Investigations Manager with the daily activities of the Money Service Businesses, including investigations, transaction analysis, and case management.
  2. Evaluate internal controls periodically and recommend solutions for risks identified.
  3. Utilize analytical techniques and systems to make informed decisions on transaction patterns.
  4. Ensure timely reporting to FinCEN.
  5. Work independently with minimal supervision within a team environment.
  6. Develop and improve standard processes and tools for transaction monitoring and investigations.
  7. Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to enhance monitoring tools for detecting suspicious activities and patterns.
  8. Use data and software tools to prevent and detect AML/OFAC risks and unlawful activities on the Ripple protocol.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  1. Experience in AML transaction monitoring and investigations, preferably in innovative environments.
  2. Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  3. Experience in defining requirements for AML transaction monitoring and suspicious activity detection.

COMPENSATION:

For California-based roles, the annual salary ranges from $92,000 to $115,000 USD, excluding equity and additional compensation. Actual salaries depend on experience and qualifications.
