Join the 50/Fifty Food and Beverage Team at Fairmount Park Casino & Racing! The Role:
As a Bartender, you will be mixing and serving beverages for customers according to established guest service standards .
The Responsibilities: - Taking drink and/or food orders from customers or beverage servers
- Collecting payment and follows cash handling procedures
- Ordering or requisitions liquors and supplies
- Washing glasses
- Maintaining clean and sanitary bar area
- Monitoring guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines
- Resolving guest complaints
- Keeping a clean and professional appearance at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Must have six months or more related experience
- Must have alcohol certification
- Must have knowledge of beverage order processing systems
- Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands & Work Environment - Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk
- Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds
- Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel
- Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor.
- The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
