We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst (Operational Analytics) to join our Operational Analytics Department (OAD). This job can be performed 100% remotely, and out of state candidates will be considered. The Business Analyst will coordinate analytics project delivery using agile methodologies while serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders and development team. Organizes sprint planning, facilitates requirements gathering, and drives efficient execution of analytics and automation initiatives. Essential Duties Facilitates regular team standups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings Maintains clear understanding of CU Medicine data ecosystem and the teams technical capabilities Leads information gathering sessions with business stakeholders to scope and solution technical specifications Maintains project backlogs and sprint boards using agile project management tools Works with OAD Leadership to identify impediments and resolve dependencies blocking analytics project delivery Manages stakeholder expectations around delivery timelines and scope changes Establishes and maintains delivery frameworks, standards, and best practices Coaches team members on agile principles and continuous improvement Requirements 2-4 years business analysis experience supporting technical teams Strong facilitation and project management skills are essential to this role Experience with agile project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.) is required Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent agile certification preferred Proven track record coordinating software development or analytics projects is required Background in data analytics or technical process improvement is preferred Experience working with SQL, Python, or automation platforms a plus Experience building dashboards with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platform is a plus Experience in healthcare (specifically revenue cycle) strongly preferred; experience with AthenaIDX is a plus BA/BS or equivalent job experience is required The ability to work in a team environment working cohesively with others to achieve goals and initiatives is essential All applications MUST be submitted via our website.
