Safety-Kleen in Waukesha, WI, is seeking a  Sales and Service   Route Driver - Class B Driver- Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred- but can obtain upon hire (within 45 days of hire) This role will train to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services in a defined route.

RESPONSIBILITIES

\n Key Responsibilities: \n

\n
• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
\n
• May visit 10-12 customer sites per day
\n
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions
\n
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks
\n
• Up-sell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field
\n
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing type businesses
\n
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner
\n
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
\n
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
\n
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
\n
• Performs other duties as assigned
\n

QUALIFICATIONS

\n

\n Required Qualifications: \n

\n
• Class B CDL
\n
• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
\n
• Basic computer and math skills
\n
• Good written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Strong customer service skills
\n
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
\n
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
\n
• Per OSHA’s Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.134, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards. 
\n

\n Preferred Qualifications: \n

\n
• Strong customer service skills
\n
• Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL)
\n
