Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Relief CDL Driver to support our fueling and servicing operations across multiple Southern California locations. This role is ideal for experienced drivers who value consistency, teamwork, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and transfer red-dyed and biodiesel fuel into locomotives on an on-call basis .
• Perform cleaning and servicing duties in Yermo , including locomotive cabs, bathrooms, and toilets.
• Maintain accurate diesel accounting paperwork and complete vehicle inspections.
• Cover shifts in Colton, San Bernardino, Barstow, and Yermo , ensuring uninterrupted service during vacations or open shifts.
• Work a variety of shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays (rotating schedule may apply).
• Be available every other Saturday starting at 6:00 AM for a 4–6 hour shift in Yermo.

Compensation

• $322/day for 12-hour shifts in San Bernardino, Barstow, and Colton.
• $120+/day for 4–6 hour shifts in Yermo.
• Paid weekly for all on-duty hours, including breaks, lunches, and wait time.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Ability to work varied shifts , including overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Must pass all required background checks (company, customer, and government)
• Must maintain all required licenses and certifications
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Must be reliable, dependable , and able to work independently
• Moderate computer skills required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb on/off elevated surfaces regularly
• Walk long distances on various terrain
• Climb in/out of truck cabs and up ladders or steps multiple times per shift
• Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
• Handle liquid non-hazardous and dry bulk materials
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently
