Palms Associates is hiring a Construction Assistant for Commercial Remodeling!

About the Role

As a Construction Assistant for Commercial Remodeling , you'll work independently and collaboratively on special projects across our apartment communities and commercial properties. Based out of Charleston, SC, this position involves travel to properties within a 2-hour radius, with occasional travel to other regional hubs including Raleigh, Charlotte, and other Southeast markets. A company vehicle will be provided for all work-related travel.

Your responsibilities will include estimating project timelines, managing your schedule, and executing hands-on renovation work with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You'll coordinate with onsite maintenance and leasing teams to deliver high-impact results.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for candidates with proven experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Carpentry
• General Construction
• Property Remodeling & Renovations
• Project Estimating & Time Management
• Knowledge of Job Site Safety Procedures and Proper Tool Use
