TRC is seeking a talented Project Manager for one of our Data Center solutions clients for an onsite project based out of Marble NC

Project Manager – Data Center Construction
The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of data center construction projects, ensuring that cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards are met. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage complex, mission-critical builds from design through commissioning.
As we continue to expand our general contracting business across 24 states (and growing), we are seeking high-performing professionals who are eager to grow with our company and take on future leadership opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all project activities across design, construction, and commissioning teams.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and reporting to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Conduct feasibility studies, monitor cash flow, and manage change control.
Provide on-site management of data center construction projects to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards.
Collaborate with power and fiber utility providers to ensure critical infrastructure readiness.
Deliver executive-level progress reports and risk assessments.
Serve as the primary interface with clients to ensure the integrity and reliability of critical infrastructure.
Partner with internal operations teams for seamless project handoff and ongoing support.
Contribute to business development efforts by fostering client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.

 

Qualifications

Data center construction experience required — including coordination of mission-critical systems, power, and cooling infrastructure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, and CAD/Visio.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Highly driven, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
