LHH is working with a great firm who is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to assist a busy team during a high-demand period. The ideal candidate will have strong deposition experience, excellent writing skills, and a solid background in civil litigation. Construction law experience is highly preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities: - Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Prepare and review legal documents
- Conduct depositions and manage case strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely case progression
Qualifications: - 5+ years of solid litigation experience (civil litigation required; construction law preferred)
- Deposition experience strongly preferred
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Must be actively licensed with the California Bar
- Prior experience with mid-to-large law firms preferred
- Stability in work history; client will not consider solo practitioners or candidates running their own practice
Additional Requirements: - Writing samples required with submission
- For temp-to-perm consideration, candidate must be local and able to work in-office
- Client may request school transcripts during the process

- Duration: 1-2 months (temp) or temp-to-perm
- Pay Rate: $70-$85/hour (based on experience)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Bar Requirement: Must be actively licensed in California
