ManpowerGroup Public Sector is urgently seeking a CP4D Netezza Performance Server (NPS) SME (TS/SCI and Poly from IC) to support a project for a U.S. government client. **Job Description: CP4D Netezza Performance Server (NPS) SME** **Position:** CP4D Netezza Performance Server (NPS) Subject Matter Expert (SME) **Clearance:** Active TS/SCI and Poly from IC **Location:** Maryland
**Duration:** May 1, 2024 - August 30, 2024 **Hours:** Part-time (16 hours/week) **Hourly Rate:** $115-$125 **Overview:**
As a CP4D Netezza Performance Server (NPS) Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of Netezza systems within our cloud environment. Your expertise will be critical in deploying, upgrading, and maintaining Netezza instances, as well as providing essential support for code updates and issue resolution. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with the team to execute code updates, including antivirus patching and other maintenance tasks, to ensure the security and stability of Netezza systems.
- Serve as a liaison between the customer and support teams, effectively navigating and resolving issues that may arise, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
- Provide expert-level support for Netezza upgrades, leveraging your technical proficiency to ensure seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
- Utilize your skills in Netezza on cloud platforms to deploy, upgrade, and configure Netezza instances, with a specific focus on IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D).
- Implement SAML integration (Security Assertion Markup Language) to enhance security and streamline authentication processes within Netezza environments. **Requirements:**
- Active TS/SCI and Poly clearance from the IC.
- Proven experience in deploying, upgrading, and configuring Netezza systems on cloud platforms.
- Strong proficiency in SAML integration and other authentication mechanisms within Netezza environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently.
