Title: Credentialing Specialist ($30 - $34 per hour )

📍 Location:New Jersey (Atlantic Health System Hospital Corporation)

🗓️ Start Date: August 11, 2025

Duration: 3 Months (with Possible Extension)

🕒 Work Schedule:

• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Mon–Fri)
• 37.5 hours/week
• 7.5 hours/day

Education:

• High School diploma or High School equivalency required Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Covid Card

🧾 Key Responsibilities

• Verify and maintain provider credentialing (initials & reappointments: 125–200 per quarter)
• Process and update provider data in Echo database (education, licensure, experience)
• Prepare credentialing packets for:
• Credentials Committee
• Medical Executive Committee (MEC)
• Board of Trustees
• Maintain provider records and track license/certification expirations
• Ensure full compliance with:
• Facility Bylaws
• Federal/state legal regulations
• Quality assurance standards
• Schedule and record minutes for medical staff department meetings
• Collect and manage membership dues
• Handle sensitive provider information confidentially
• Participate in audits, updates, and other administrative tasks as assigned

🛠️ Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of provider credentialing process
• Ability to:
• Organize and prioritize tasks
• Analyze and research provider background data
• Work independently and manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficient computer skills (EMR or credentialing software like Echo)
