About the Role

We are working with a leading contractor specializing in public utility infrastructure across the DFW metroplex that is seeking a skilled Superintendent to oversee field operations on water, wastewater, and stormwater construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep experience in utility work and a passion for delivering high-quality infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations across multiple utility job sites.
• Supervise crews, subcontractors, and equipment usage.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and municipal clients.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
• Troubleshoot field issues and implement effective solutions.
• Track progress, materials, and labor for reporting and billing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in public utility construction (water, sewer, storm).
• Proven leadership in managing field crews and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of utility installation methods and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license; OSHA 30 and other certifications preferred.
