We’re hiring a  Director of Operations to lead our local manufacturing, logistics, and fulfillment operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on building scalable systems, solving complex challenges, and delivering high-performance results in a high-mix, low-volume environment.

• Lead production planning and scheduling to meet customer delivery timelines and revenue goals
• Manage inventory levels and material flow to support efficient, on-time builds
• Own quality processes, internal investigations, and ISO compliance
• Oversee logistics, including shipping, receiving, and U.S. import/export compliance (HTS, EAR, Carnet)
• Drive customer order fulfillment and support operational review of contracts and documentation
• Coordinate with engineering, service, and sales teams to align on product builds and readiness
• Participate in NPI and ECN processes, identifying operational impacts of design or process changes
  

• Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, supply chain, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or logistics leadership
• Proven ability to lead teams, improve systems, and scale operations
• Strong ERP/MRP experience and familiarity with ISO-certified quality systems
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  

• Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with U.S. export compliance regulations
• Background in optics, electronics, instrumentation, or precision hardware
• Experience supporting engineering-driven production and long product life cycles
