Hepaco, A Clean Harbors Company, in Groveport, OH is seeking a Class B CDL Driver to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES

\n Key Responsibilities: \n
\n
\n - Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
\n - Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed (team atmosphere where everyone helps)
\n - Operate a variety of Class B trucks
\n - Loading and unloading of trucks
\n - Ensure customer satisfaction at time of service.
\n - Proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements/regulations
\n - Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports
\n - Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
\n - Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
\n - Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
\n - Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
\n - Performs other duties as assigned
\n - By position, ability to be on call for emergency response on rotating basis every other week
\n - By position, site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials.

QUALIFICATIONS
\n
\n Required Qualifications: \n
\n
\n - Valid Class B CDL
\n - Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
\n - Ability to use various mobile devices
\n - Perform physical functions per job requirements
\n - Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
\n - Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.

\n Preferred Qualifications: \n
\n
\n
\n - Commercial driver experience
\n - Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
\n - Previous Hazmat experience
\n - Ability to operate a manual transmission
\n - Previous manual labor experience
\n
\n
