Job Description: The State of Iowa – Department of Management (DOM) is seeking a Drupal Developer to join their Digital Experience (DX) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Drupal websites and integrating Qualtrics forms. The candidate will work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple high-impact digital projects. Specialty Areas: Drupal CMS Development – Designing, developing, and maintaining Drupal websites. Survey Integration – Building and integrating surveys via Qualtrics or similar platforms. Digital Tools – Utilizing Acquia, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and Google Analytics. Version Control – Managing code repositories and collaboration using GIT. Responsibilities: Design, build, test, and maintain Drupal CMS-based websites and components. Create responsive and accessible websites compatible across devices. Integrate Qualtrics or similar survey tools with web platforms and data systems. Collaborate with design teams using Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. Monitor and analyze site traffic and user behavior with Google Analytics. Ensure consistent environments using Acquia hosting and management tools. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines. Adhere to state accessibility and usability standards for public-facing sites. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently. Must be a resident of Iowa . Qualifications: Experience working with State or Local Government agencies. Background in survey tools and integrations with internal systems. Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG/Section 508).
