Job Title: Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager
Location: Kansas City, MO

Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced EHS Manager to lead and oversee all environmental, health, and safety initiatives across our operations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of safety, and implementing programs that protect employees, the community, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.

• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; track and report safety metrics.

• Manage environmental compliance programs including waste management, air and water quality, and sustainability initiatives.

• Deliver training programs on safety practices, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with operations, HR, and leadership to promote a strong safety culture.

• Maintain records and documentation for OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.

• Stay current on EHS regulations and industry best practices; recommend improvements and innovations.

• Support emergency preparedness and crisis management planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in EHS management, preferably in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, logistics, chemical].

• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.

• Experience conducting audits, training, and incident investigations.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in EHS management systems and reporting tools.

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
