Overview Healthcare and fintech-focused investment firm is looking for a strategic Executive Assistant to support their Partner who oversees Talent. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic firm, operate as a strategic partner, and be a part of a collaborative admin team. In this role, you’ll manage a complex calendar and heavy travel schedule for the Partner, staying one step ahead by anticipating needs, understanding priorities, and proactively solving problems. You’ll own cross-team coordination, acting as the connective tissue between partners and investment teams, and plan team events and off-sites. Someone who understands fast-paced, results-driven environments and can keep pace with a high-functioning team through your strong ability to anticipate needs and take ownership. This is a primarily remote role, preference for someone based in NY/ET timezone, with occasional travel (1x month) to the office in NY or CT. Must be comfortable working with after-hours/weekends as time-sensitive needs arise. 140-180K+ DOE + benefits, bonus, 401k, and 2 weeks PTO. Responsibilities Manage the Partner’s complex calendar and scheduling needs, ensuring optimal time allocation and seamless coordination across priorities. Oversee all aspects of the Partner’s travel and logistics, including accommodations, transportation, meeting locations, and daily scheduling to support back-to-back commitments. Act as a connector across teams, fostering strong relationships with other Executive Assistants and team members to ensure seamless communication and alignment. Plan and execute off-sites, internal events, and team activities, including ideation, logistics, and cross-team coordination. Support strategic priorities by anticipating needs, organizing workflows, and ensuring the Partner stays ahead of commitments and key objectives. Qualifications 3-4+ years of previous experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role, preferably in a startup or VC environment. Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with shifting schedules and changing priorities. High work ethic and ability to operate with startup-level speed, resourcefulness, and results-driven mentality. Demonstrates a strong ownership mindset with urgency, accuracy, and commitment to achieving results efficiently. Anticipates needs and stays one step ahead to maintain smooth operations and momentum across priorities. Prioritizes effectively in a fast-moving environment and understands the broader impact of timely coordination. Highly responsive and organized with excellent communication skills across all channels, including messaging platforms and collaboration tools. Strong cross-team collaboration skills with the ability to build trust and work closely with other Executive Assistants and stakeholders. Possesses strong knowledge of NYC dining, meeting venues, and workspace options to support high-touch scheduling and travel planning.
