The Lube Technician is responsible for performing express lube duties on vehicles. This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential duties include adhering to express lube guidelines, performing lube, oil and filter changes, reporting necessary repairs to service advisor, installing LOF reminder stickers, checking and refilling battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant levels. Ensures vehicle cleanliness and proper fluid levels before release. Maintains CSI at or above company standards, keeps work area organized, clean and safe, participates in required training, records hours worked accurately, follows safeguards rules and regulations, demonstrates company core values, complies with company policies and procedures, and observes all safety rules. Qualifications include a high school diploma, up to 3 years of automotive work experience, basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems, mechanical skills, valid driver's license, basic computer skills, effective communication, regular attendance, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and ability to work in a service area environment with exposure to noise, vibration, fumes, and interaction with service advisors and managers.
