FP&A Manager (Hybrid in Boston - 150K base + bonus) Our client, a well‑established asset management firm based in Boston, is looking for an experienced finance professional to join their team. This individual will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and financial reporting efforts. The position involves close collaboration with multiple business unit finance teams, particularly within the capital markets group, as well as support on various ad hoc financial analyses. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the annual budgeting cycle as well as ongoing forecasting and reporting on a quarterly and monthly basis. Contribute to long‑range strategic planning, integrating current and projected business developments. Partner with teams across compensation, corporate finance, and accounting to ensure alignment. Prepare journal entries to reconcile tax basis and management P&L reporting. Conduct ad hoc analyses and assist with special projects as needed. Qualifications 5–8 years of experience in accounting (public or private) or FP&A, with at least 1 year in a managerial capacity. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with strong academic performance. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with sound judgment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Anaplan, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
