We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. • Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines
• Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment
• Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks
• Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria
• Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary
• Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory
• Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred
• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
• Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance

Our Hampton Inn Raleigh/Cary hotel is just off Highway 1, next to WakeMed Cary Hospital, and close to corporate offices. We're just 10 minutes from North Carolina State University and 15 minutes from downtown Raleigh. Find several restaurants within walking distance at the Waverly Place shopping center.
