Interior Designer – Intermediate FF&E (High-End Residential & Hospitality)

📍 Full-time | On-site | New York City

A highly respected and design-driven interior design studio based in Manhattan is looking to welcome a talented Intermediate FF&E Designer to their growing New York team.

With a portfolio that spans luxury residential and boutique hospitality projects across the globe, the studio is known for its sophisticated design approach, curated materiality, and exceptional attention to detail. This is an exciting opportunity to take a hands-on role in shaping interiors at the highest level.

🌟 What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborating closely with the Project Manager and/or Senior Designer to develop projects from concept through to installation
  • Creating detailed design documents and presentations throughout all project phases
  • Researching and sourcing FF&E, materials, and finishes that align with the studio’s refined aesthetic
  • Liaising with trusted vendors and suppliers to source bespoke and high-end pieces
  • Managing pricing, lead times, and procurement details to support seamless project delivery

✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • 5–7 years’ experience in high-end residential and/or boutique hospitality design
  • Strong background working within renowned interior design firms
  • Proficiency in millwork, furniture design, and bespoke case goods
  • Deep knowledge of high-end FF&E sources—from vintage markets and auctions to specialty showrooms
  • Experience working with custom fabricators for furniture, lighting, and joinery
  • An eye for detail and a passion for quality craftsmanship
  • Degree in Interior Design from an accredited institution
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Residency in or near New York City and the ability to work full-time on-site

💻 Software & Communication Skills:

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office

If you’re looking to join a creative, collaborative team working on world-class interiors—and you’re ready to take the next step in your design career—we’d love to hear from you.
