Government of the District of Columbia Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) Cash, Debt, and Investment Manager Salary Range: $122,503.00 - $157,830.00 This position is within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Washington Convention Center Authority (Events DC). The incumbent will handle cash and investments as part of the Finance team supporting all Events DC business activities. Responsibilities also include managing activities related to the issuance of revenue bonds and other debt instruments by Events DC. Duties include, but are not limited to: Managing Events DC investments appropriately. Monitoring the transfer of dedicated taxes from the district and ensuring all transactions are reconciled and properly accounted for. Overseeing Events DC bank accounts, banking institutions, and investments. Maintaining cash and investment data, analyzing trends and fluctuations. Collaborating with financial advisors to analyze and recommend investment policies and procedures. Coordinating activities related to bonds' continuing disclosure agreements. Performing other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Five (5) years of progressive experience performing related duties such as monitoring cash flow, developing investment strategies, analyzing portfolio performance, and managing relationships with financial institutions. Knowledge of municipal debt issuance is required. A bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is preferred, along with experience in government and/or non-profit investing and cash management.
