Description

Primary Responsibilities :
-W rit es and maintain s source code
-C reat es , maintain s software applications and appl ies frameworks involved in a software release
-Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, bug fixing
-Expertise in Java, JavaScript programming language s is required
-Develops, modifies computer applications software or specialized utility programs
-Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions
-Develops products, solutions, processes using basic principles, theories , concepts
-Applies computer science principles , engineering techniques , mathematical analysis
-Applies concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments
-Performs work that requires practical experience and training
-Work is performed under supervision
Basic Qualifications:
-Typically requires BS degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
-Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering , Computer Science, Information Sy stems Management, other related discipline
-A dditional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
-Ability to work well within a small team environment
-Strong communication skills
-US Citizenship
-DOD Secret Clearance is required .
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with software product development
-Agile Experience
-Software development tools: Eclipse, IntelliJ, J ira , Confluence
-Languages/frameworks: Java, JavaScript, Python, React
-Source control tools: G it
