Job Description
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assemble machines from prefabricated parts and move and install machines/equipment. • Repair/replace and maintain equipment such as motors, gear boxes, bearings, seals, augers, conveyors, pumps, tanks, hoppers or any other worn parts of machinery. • Solve technical problems when a production line is down or operating below standard productivity. 1) Diagnostic 2) Trouble shoot,3) Resolve, 4) Repair, 5) Fix. • Complete work orders and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Safety knowledge
· Maintenance Mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
· Skills in field machining, rigging, steel fabrication, conveyor systems or other schematics to assemble or repair machines.
· Required to have basic machine trouble shooting skills, machinery operation knowledge and be able use a variety of hand and power tools.
· Industrial Manufacturing environment.
· English preferred.
· Flexibility of schedule
