Job Title: Meat Cutter & Packer

Location: Commerce, CA

Schedule:

• Morning Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM
  (Currently 32 hours/week; hours will increase during peak season)

Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Meat Cutters & Packers. This role involves deboning poultry, cutting and processing meat, and packaging products according to company standards. This is a physically demanding role in a fast-paced environment and is ideal for someone looking for long-term employment with growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Debone, cut, trim, and process poultry and other meats
• Accurately weigh, label, and package meat products
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with food safety standards
• Follow company procedures for sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety
• Work efficiently to meet production goals
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in meat cutting, processing, or a similar role is preferred but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in cold environments (refrigerated areas)
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food safety
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and safety protocols
• Slip-resistant shoes are required
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check if required
