We are looking for a skilled Accountant or Analyst with a solid background in accounting and finance to join our team in Long Beach, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a critical role in optimizing NetSuite to support financial operations, reporting, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure efficient month-end closings, accurate billing, and seamless audits, while driving system improvements to enhance overall performance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial processes within NetSuite, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and fixed assets.

• Support month-end and year-end close activities by managing reconciliations and preparing journal entries.

• Handle subscription billing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities using NetSuite planning tools.

• Coordinate documentation for bi-annual audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.

• Configure and maintain NetSuite modules to align with financial workflows and optimize system performance.

• Manage user roles, permissions, and system security for finance-related functions.

• Develop and refine financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for leadership decision-making.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.

• Provide training and documentation for finance and accounting staff on NetSuite functionality.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably at the Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller level.
• Proven expertise as a NetSuite Administrator in a finance-focused environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, month-end close processes, and financial reporting.
• Experience with subscription billing and accounts receivable management is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce integration is a strong plus.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate accounting needs into effective system solutions.
