Duke Orthopedic Surgery has a faculty opportunity for a board certified/board eligible Orthopedic Surgeon fellowship trained in
Adult Spine . The primary clinic is located directly in the highly coveted Raleigh-Durham, NC area, offering the opportunity to build a robust spine practice within Dukes leading Orthopedic academic department.
Opportunity - Join Duke's Spine Division, a collaboration between Duke Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic Surgery providing world-class interdisciplinary spine care with operative and non-operative experts in a coordinated care model
- Enjoy a clinically-focused broad range of spine-related surgery cases, while being a part of a larger academic division of Spine surgeons
- Clinical responsibilities to include 2 days/week in the OR and 2 days/week in clinic at a Duke affiliated hospital and clinic
- Primary clinic location and OR space located directly in high-desired Wake County
Qualifications - BC/BE Orthopaedic surgeon, fellowship-trained in Adult Spine
- Demonstrated excellence in the areas of clinical care and surgery, managing all types of spine issues for patients
- Committed to a focus on patient care, plus some time on teaching and clinical research
Salary and faculty title will be commensurate with training and experience. Duke Orthopedics offers a robust compensation plan that rewards clinical productivity and academic excellence.
