The Palliative Care Physician provides compassionate outpatient care focused on managing pain, symptoms, and advanced care planning for patients. This role includes leading a team of experienced inpatient nurse practitioners and collaborating within a community-based, academic hospital system. The position requires board certification or eligibility in Palliative Care and a Texas medical license, offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate must be committed to providing unparalleled patient care with a primary responsibility for treating patients in an outpatient setting to reduce or control pain and debilitating symptoms and in driving discussions about goals of care, prognosis, treatment options, and advanced care planning. In addition, the successful candidate will lead a team of 3 experienced Palliative Care inpatient NPs.
