We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Physician Office Liaison to join our team in New Haven, Connecticut. In this long-term contract position, you will play an essential role in supporting the administrative needs of a busy multidisciplinary breast care practice. This hybrid role involves both coordinating new patient onboarding and serving as a liaison during clinic sessions to ensure optimal patient and physician experiences.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and schedule new patient consultations for a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, medical oncologists, and midlevel practitioners.
• Gather and compile necessary medical records, test results, and reports to support weekly multidisciplinary breast clinic sessions.
• Act as a liaison during clinic hours, ensuring patients and physicians are informed and that the clinic operates smoothly and efficiently.
• Provide administrative support for breast medical oncology, including managing patient calls and scheduling.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all patient-related information within the required systems.
• Communicate effectively with referring physicians, patients, and team members to address inquiries and coordinate care.
• Assist with onboarding new patients by following established protocols and ensuring all necessary steps are completed.
• Utilize Epic software and other computer-based systems to manage scheduling, documentation, and patient records.
• Support clinical operations by maintaining workflows and adhering to established protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless coordination of care and patient satisfaction.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
• Proficiency in using Epic software and other computer-based systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and staff effectively.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Demonstrated experience in scheduling, documentation, and record management.
• Familiarity with oncology, radiology, pathology, and surgical processes.
• Associate’s degree preferred, though relevant experience will be considered.
