As a Product Designer, you won’t just be pushing pixels; you’ll be solving real-world problems that affect thousands of users daily, from passengers booking flights to employees managing critical airline operations. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to reimagine legacy systems and create intuitive, modern experiences from the ground up.
This is a high-impact role on a growing User Experience and Digital Platform team, where your work will directly influence the future of digital products used across the company.
Responsibilities
General
- Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to define user stories and design deliverables
- Influence product direction with design best practices and user research insights
- Work closely with developers to implement scalable, user-centered solutions
- Gather and act on user feedback, iterating designs as needed
- Present design solutions clearly and persuasively to stakeholders
- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies with team members and leadership
Design
- Design interfaces, visual styles, and user flows for web and mobile applications
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and documentation
- Contribute to and use design system components
Information Architecture
- Structure content and features in a way that supports intuitive navigation and usability
- Translate complex requirements into user-centric designs and systems
- Maintain UX documentation such as task flows, mockups, and use cases
User Research
- Plan and conduct usability tests, interviews, and other research methods
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions
- Continuously test and iterate on design ideas with users and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Human Factors, Design, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in product design, UX, or interaction design
- Strong skills in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design/prototyping tools
- Experience working closely with developers in agile environments
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles
- Familiarity with usability testing methods and tools (moderated and unmoderated)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines and time zones
- Experience designing responsive, adaptive, and accessible user interfaces
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Logistics
- Title: Product Designer
- Location: Fort Worth, Texas
- Structure: Hybrid, Tuesday - Thursday on-site Mandatory
- Duration: Long-term ongoing 40-hour per week contract with plan to convert to FT in the future
- Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental 401k after 60 days of work.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. No C2C.
- Application Requirements: Must currently be local, and a strong product design portfolio is required.
- Pay Rate: $55-60 per hour, W2 Only, DOE
Compensation for this position will be determined based on several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role; market labor costs; and the candidate’s skills, education, training, credentials, and experience, as well as other employment conditions. Full-time consultants are eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) contributions, along with any PTO, sick leave, or other benefits required by applicable state or local laws where you reside or work.
