As a Maps Product Manager, you’ll help build and execute a product vision for Apple Maps with a specific focus on all forms of mobility and user experience, which will require a close working relationship with a number of teams in the larger Apple ecosystem including Engineering, Marketing, PR, and Design, among others.

Description

As mobility evolves beyond point-to-point navigation in a car, the map of the future will be less a utility a more a platform that helps one make sense of the physical world. Apple Maps is ready to meet those challenges and is looking for someone to help build and execute a vision for all forms of mobility, including driving, walking, and transit, among others.As environmental and sustainability concerns become more important to city and state transportation managers, we’re looking for someone to help Maps re-think the way people move within communities. You will work closely with Maps leadership, as well as key stakeholders across other parts of the Apple ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications

  • An upbeat spirit of passion, energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to learn quickly on the job, and enjoy problem solving.
  • Direct product management experience with a focus on the mapping and places space across a variety of platforms like iOS, web, and others.
  • Experience building and deep interest in applied AI, ML, and LLM technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to to large groups and executives.
  • Demonstrated creative and innovative problem solving and willingness to take the lead where needed.
  • Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines
  • Ability to travel when needed and work weekends from home.
  • Ability to collaborate and work productively across large teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience working with international teams.
  • Empathy and understanding of how to advocate for the product with peer teams like engineering, operations and business.

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $205,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
