Job Description

Implement and manage the Quality Control Plan in accordance with USACE and NAVFAC guidelines. Conduct daily inspections and maintain accurate quality documentation. Coordinate with field teams to ensure timely submittals and approvals. Use QCS and eCMS software to manage quality reporting and compliance tracking. Lead preparatory meetings and follow-up inspections with stakeholders. Identify and resolve quality issues proactively to avoid delays. Support safety compliance in collaboration with SSHO when needed. Assist in project closeout and final quality documentation.

The Successful Applicant

Working knowledge of field construction including systems, practices, general engineering principals and construction techniques, materials, methods and sequencing. Familiarity with requirements of USACE EM 385-1-1. 5+ years of experience on USACE projects. Active QCM certification. Detailed experience with quality control systems. Experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance. Strong work ethic with a passion to fulfill commitments. Sincere obligation to client satisfaction. Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, multi-tasking, communication and conflict management skills. Computer knowledge in sending emails, daily reports, construction look-ahead schedules. Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction or Building Science. Combined experience as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager and/or Project Engineer on a similar size and type of construction contract. Partnership approach to working with architects and engineers. MS Office Suite knowledge and good computer skills. Demonstrated ability to be a team player. Must be willing to travel long-term.
