We are seeking a talented and versatile Quantitative Analyst/Junior Web Developer to join our growing team at the intersection of financial risk management, trading, and technology.

This hybrid role working in the office three days per week is ideal for someone who is both analytically driven and technically adept, with a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights and building lightweight, effective tools that support our risk and trading functions.

As part of the Risk & Trading Technology group, you will work closely with quantitative analysts, traders, and risk managers to analyze large datasets, automate workflows, and develop simple yet powerful applications to support decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large volumes of financial data, particularly related to trading activities, derivatives pricing, and risk exposures.
• Design and develop lightweight, user-friendly tools (e.g., dashboards, data processing pipelines, calculators) to support trading desks and risk managers.
• Support internal users by delivering timely and reliable analytics for market, credit, and operational risk monitoring.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Develop scripts and applications to automate recurring analysis and reporting tasks.
• Assist in the integration and validation of new data sources related to financial derivatives, market data, and counterparty risk.
• Collaborate with DevOps and IT to ensure proper deployment, testing, and security of tools developed.
• Document data models, tool functionalities, and analytical methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• 3–6 years of experience in a data analyst, data developer, or quantitative support role, ideally within financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, with specific exposure to trading derivatives, market risk, and/or credit risk.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel (including VBA) for data manipulation and tool development.
• Experience developing simple front-end or reporting applications (e.g., using Dash, Streamlit, Power BI, or similar platforms).
• Ability to work with large and complex datasets with attention to detail and data quality.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
