Job Description

Millennium is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is eager to launch their career in event sponsorship sales within a fast-growing, market-disrupting organization. This entry-level role plays a foundational part in our sales engine, generating high-quality leads and setting qualified meetings for our Sponsorship Sales Account Executives. Candidates should bring strong communication skills, a resilient work ethic, and a desire to grow quickly within a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.

As an SDR, you’ll drive the early stages of the sales cycle—prospecting, cold calling, and following up on marketing-led campaigns to engage senior decision-makers in the enterprise technology space. You’ll be mentored by experienced sales professionals, with the opportunity to advance into a full-cycle Account Executive (AE) role within 4–5 months, based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads through outbound calling, email campaigns, and social selling
  • Identify and engage senior management decision-makers within target organizations
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects by executing the early stages of the sales process
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns and develop self-sourced prospect lists
  • Leverage sales tools to identify key stakeholders and gather account intelligence
  • Maintain a high volume of outreach activity, including cold calls and email sequences
  • Schedule qualified sales meetings for the Sponsorship Sales team
  • Clearly articulate Millennium’s value proposition and tailor messaging to each prospect
  • Track and manage all lead activity and pipeline progress in Salesforce
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs and performance metrics
