Job Description

A full-time audiologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving K-12 students in a Pueblo, Colorado school setting. This contract role offers a balanced schedule from Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to include Fridays for specialized duties such as hearing screenings and Child Find activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing screenings using the sound booth, primarily on Fridays
  • Participate in Child Find events two days per month, totaling approximately 10 days annually
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 20-30 students, providing comprehensive audiological services
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student hearing and communication needs
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations concerning student health services

Qualifications:

  • Valid and current audiologist licensure with applicable state certifications
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within educational environments
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage caseload and coordinate with school staff
  • Familiarity with hearing screening protocols and assistive listening technologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time, typically 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Thursday
  • Fridays included for hearing screenings and Child Find responsibilities; total weekly hours range from 36 to 40
  • Position located in Pueblo, Colorado within a K-12 school setting
