Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a tuition-free private home and school for 2,200 pre-K through 12th grade students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Since its’ founding, the lives of almost 12,000 children have had lives transformed through high-quality career-focused education and a positive, nurturing home life. And the school is growing to serve more students.
MHS is seeking dynamic Science Teachers to provide high quality engaging, rigorous, and relevant instruction aligned with state and national standards so students can achieve grade level or above benchmarks and reach their full potential. MHS’s teachers prepare and deliver lessons and assessments to differentiate instruction, while extensively utilizing data to analyze outcomes and drive achievement for student success.
MHS Teachers are deeply committed to remediating students to perform well which requires extensive cross-functional collaboration with a whole child approach to student development. They are required to schedule and complete additional duties to their teaching schedules.
