As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Wood Village, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic retail location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to both staff and visitors. You will also be expected to utilize technology such as computers or tablets to document observations and communicate with your team. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft or unauthorized access.
• Communicate with management and/or law enforcement as needed regarding incidents or suspicious activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in a clear and concise manner according to company and client guidelines.
• Assist customers, visitors, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Applicants must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
