Beacon Hill is a proud partner to a reputable Non-Profit organization in Chicago. We are currently hiring a Senior Accountant.

Responsibilities/Duties

The responsibilities of the Senior Accountant are, but are not limited to:

• Manage and oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis in accordance with US GAAP.

• Perform financial analysis and modeling, including ROI, discounted cash flows, and variance analysis.

• Lead and support the budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.

• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.

• Handle foreign currency transactions, intercompany accounting, and consolidation activities.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and internal control frameworks.

• Conduct research and provide recommendations for new accounting standards (ASUs) and related implementations.

• Utilize ERP systems to streamline reporting and accounting operations; Oracle Cloud experience preferred.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams across U.S. and international offices.

• Deliver high-quality work independently with strong attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Accounting; CPA or equivalent technical expertise required.

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting; advanced degree preferred.

• Proven knowledge of US GAAP, financial modeling tools, and budgeting processes.

• Strong analytical and research skills with a demonstrated ability to apply complex accounting standards.

• Experience working within global organizations and managing multi-currency transactions.

• Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly Oracle Cloud.
