The Senior Clinical Specialist works under general direction providing advanced engineering, sales, educational and technical support in response to complex field inquiries involving Electrophysiology (EP) products. The role involves a high degree of independence, using effective and cost-efficient business practices. Responsibilities include acting as a senior clinical interface between the medical community and the business, building credible business relationships, identifying customer needs and sales opportunities, providing clinical support and training on EP products, mentoring less experienced Clinical Specialists, and assisting with advanced educational seminars and product demonstrations. The position requires staying current on developments in the field, regulatory requirements, and industry trends, resolving problems, and occasionally performing related functions as assigned. Required qualifications include a minimum of 1 year in previous position, at least 3 years of clinical experience, IBHRE EP certification, ability to perform complex cases solo, and ability to mentor and train others. The role requires vendor credentialing compliance including possible COVID-19 vaccination. Travel is required up to 50% of the time.
