JOB STATEMENT:

Reporting to the Controller, the incumbent will assume the responsibilities set out below for IDC WIN, a subsidiary of WGC.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the Controller and senior management of IDC WIN, including but not limited to: the Vice Presidents of Operations, the Executive Vice President of Sales, and the Chief Executive Officer of IDC WIN to ensure accurate, timely and meaningful reporting and analysis;
• Lead development of financial budgets and forecasts to support the business objectives;
• Lead development and enhancement of reporting and analytics to provide the business with meaningful insights, including but not limited to:
• timely information about its revenue performance;
• timely information about the marketing expenditures and their recovery;
• timely information about advisor debts, ensuring monitoring and follow up within the business; and timely information about block purchases and sales.
• Support management of the GL system for Worldsource companies to meet Finance team needs.;
• Support the effective completion of the monthly/quarterly/annual IDC WIN accounting, reporting and analysis cycles.
• Support accounting, taxes, cash management and reporting for subsidiaries.
• Work closely with the Controller and other team members to support all deliverables, meet timelines with accuracy, and contribute to process improvements.;
• Work with the Controller and other team members to ensure that all financial accounting and reporting processes within IDC WIN, and the associated accounting research, are in accordance with IFRS; and
• Work on other special projects as requested by the Controller and the business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Designated Accountant with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant financial services experience
• Advanced Excel skills for information modelling to simplify the analysis of large quantities of data
• Proven track record in process development and enhancement
• Strong analytical capabilities to support problem-solving and decision-making
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and effectively delegate in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency in working with Multiview
