Job Description:

Our Federal Engineered Systems Global Business Unit is a leader in delivering engineering and technology solutions to Federal DoD and Civilian clients. Since 1944, we apply our unique perspective to help customers address future challenges across land, sea, air, space, and cyber domains.

We support programs for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Army, Navy, and Air Force worldwide, providing program management, system integration, engineering, modernization, environmental, and construction support. Our extensive experience in program integration, staff support, technology insertion, and on-site support sets us apart.

Position: Sr. Director - Acquisition, Contracts & Supply Chain

Preference for candidates located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Remote/hybrid options available with approximately 75% travel to NCR.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical guidance to staff, ensuring proficiency and timely contract administration.
2. Lead the development and execution of contract strategies supporting program goals.
3. Manage pre-award and post-award processes, including proposals, negotiations, and modifications.
4. Represent Parsons in dealings with clients and partners on significant project or relationship matters.
5. Assign and reassign staffing based on company and project needs.
6. Develop procurement strategies to optimize costs, efficiency, and supply chain resilience.
7. Collaborate with teams to support contract negotiations and administration.
8. Build and maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance, and resolve issues.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant procurement and contracting policies and regulations.
10. Review RFPs to identify risks and non-conforming contractual terms.
11. Perform other related responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in Federal Contracts, including integration and novation under AMS/FAR/DFARS.
• Experience managing global supply chains and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with federal laws (Buy American, TAA, ITAR).
• Deep knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and international trade laws.
• Skills in risk management, contract optimization, and renegotiation.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and engagement with government stakeholders.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Law, or related field, with 15+ years supporting procurement or supply chain management.
• US Person status.
• FAA BNATCS Contract experience is preferred.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of AMS.
• Experience supporting portfolios exceeding $1 billion in revenue.
• Understanding of FAA operations.
