Citizenship and Immigration Services, within Fraud Detection National Security Directorate (FDNS) and assigned based on agency need. Serve as a supervisor under a Branch Chief within the FDNS and report to the Branch Chief and Division Chief. Direct subordinates in the conduct of inquiries (e.g., systems checks, biometric evaluations, screening and vetting). Direct FDNS Immigration Officers and staff in the development of USCIS anti‑fraud, national security, and intelligence procedures and guidance. Coordinate fraud, public safety, and national security initiatives with local, regional, and national USCIS offices and with state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies and task forces. Perform administrative and human resource management and management functions. Conditions of Employment You must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National. Successfully pass a Background Investigation including financial disclosure. Pass a drug screening. Submit resume and supporting documentation. Residency Requirement : The residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by USCIS: must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying, (1) resided in the U.S.; OR (2) worked for the U.S. Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity; OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S. Federal or Military employee serving overseas. Supervisory/Managerial Probationary Period : May be required to serve a twelve‑month probationary period upon appointment; may also be required to complete a supervisory training course within one year of assignment. Qualifications Qualified for GS‑14 if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS‑13 level, including experience performing the following duties: Providing technical and operational support to officers, analysts, and staff engaged in programs administering the Immigration and Nationality Act. Coordinating and leading teams in addressing complex policy and procedural diverse issues. Establishing and maintaining liaison with management and government officials. Analyzing, establishing, and implementing program goals and objectives. Establishing long‑range work plans and determining the actions necessary to accomplish objectives. Meeting all other Qualifications listed in “Qualifications” section, including required experience, educational background, and ensuring all qualifications are submitted before 12/01/2025.
