Tow Truck Operator
Salary Range
30,000 - 65,000
Job Summary
- Operates a tow truck and performs emergency roadside assistance.
General Accountabilities
- Communicates with dispatcher for information about service requests.
- Inspects tow truck and equipment on a daily basis and performs maintenance as needed.
- Performs routine roadside assistance for motorist in need, such as battery testing, battery replacement, jump starts, vehicle unlocks and tire changes.
- Loads and secures vehicles on tow truck.
- Transports vehicles to designated locations.
- Keeps equipment clean and well maintained.

Job Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid Drivers' License
- Must live within 10 miles of company base location
- Must be available to work on-call (days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
