\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• 36 hours per week guaranteed with 13-26 week contract options
\n• Patient ratio of 1:6-7
\n• Floating required as needed with potential to float every shift
\n• Weekend requirement of 5-6 weekend shifts (every other weekend)
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
\n• Must have telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
\n• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required
\n• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and sheath removal experience required
\n• Experience with accessing ports, blood product administration, central line/PICC line management
\n• Cardiac drip titration experience (Diltiazem and Amiodarone) required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
\n• Preferred certifications: NIH
\n• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
\n• 24-hour unit orientation required
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• Self-scheduling per unit needs
\n• Must be available for Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignments
\n• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed, must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
\n• Cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week

\nThis healthcare facility operates a specialized 42-bed cardiac telemetry unit that provides comprehensive monitoring and care for cardiac patients. The unit features advanced cardiac monitoring capabilities and manages complex cardiac conditions including congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac catheterization care. The facility utilizes state-of-the-art equipment including cardiac drips, sheath removal procedures, and advanced monitoring systems, supported by interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
