Job Details
- Travel Physical Therapist position at Carlsbad Medical Center.
- Role involves inpatient and outpatient physical therapy.
- Physical therapists help patients reduce pain, improve or restore mobility, and develop long-term health benefits.
- PTs examine individuals and develop treatment plans to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
- PTs also develop fitness and wellness programs to prevent loss of mobility.
- Care settings include hospitals, private practices, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports and fitness facilities, work settings, and nursing homes.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- Current New Mexico state licensure required or pending NM state licensure approved and must be included with submission.
Schedule Information
- Shift: Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Additional Details
- Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers.
- Inpatient and outpatient needs with a more pressing need for inpatient.
- No on-call duties.
- No option for 48-hour guarantee.
- No option for block scheduling.
- Scrub color: Any.
- EMR system used: MedHost.
