Veterinary Practice Manager Pico Veterinary Clinic – San Clemente, CA Do you love working with pets as much as you love leading a team to success? At Pico Veterinary Clinic, we’re looking for a seasoned veterinary technician who’s ready to step into a dual role —keeping their hands in patient care while steering the ship as our Practice Manager. This is not your typical “behind-the-desk” management position. You’ll be in the thick of it—supporting our doctors on the floor, coaching our talented team, and making sure our hospital runs like a well-oiled (and very friendly) machine. What You’ll Do Lead by example—deliver exceptional patient care and client service while inspiring the team to do the same. Partner with Medical Director and Regional Director of Operations to keep our clinic thriving—medically, operationally, and financially. Jump in on the floor when needed: assisting with patients, coaching team members in real time, and ensuring smooth workflow. Keep our clients happy with unmatched communication, education, and service. Manage schedules, budgets, inventory, and hospital goals with a strategic (and slightly perfectionist) eye. What We’re Looking For A veterinary technician with strong clinical skills —you know your way around anesthesia, dentistry, lab work, and patient handling. Proven leadership and people-management skills (bonus points if you’ve managed in a veterinary setting before). Business-savvy with a knack for problem-solving and process improvement.
