Under the direction of a designated mentor, the Welding Apprentice will be trained in welding preparation including:
\n - MIG welding
\n - Robotic Welding
\n - Metal Finishing operations to manufacture products to customer drawings and specifications
\n
\n
Essential Functions: \n - Follow all Spacesaver safety policies and procedures
\n - Perform Standard Work by following Work/Operator Instructions/Training
\n - Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
\n - Understand and practice 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain)

Required Skills Qualifications \n - Enrolled in a youth apprenticeship program through high school or college curriculum
\n - Enrolled in or taken Technical Education courses associated with welding and/or fabrication
\n - Ability to work Monday through Thursday beginning at 5 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m.
