Job Description

This position embodies an exceptional customer service experience to the client/colleague/end user in a corporate environment for a global professional services firm. Engage at the appropriate level to support contracted service lines to include mail, print (MFD troubleshooting and maintenance), hospitality, facilities and audio/visual. Pick up and deliver copy jobs, faxes, and packages. Assume accountability for all support functions for assigned floor(s). Essential job functions and responsibilities include delivery and pick up of USPS and accountable mail (Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, messenger and other incoming packages throughout floors to and from mailroom), delivering print work as needed, processing all outgoing USPS and accountable mail, keeping inventory of all supplies in mail areas, assisting and notifying end users of mail and shipping protocols, auditing and updating mail lists, supporting confidential document shredding, arranging and maintaining conference rooms for meetings, lunches, and various events, maintaining inventory of all office supplies, preparing large volume print requests and finishing to colleague specifications, quality checking all print work, using high speed MFD’s, providing service, colleague support and 1st level maintenance for MFD’s, monitoring office for facilities related issues and reporting accordingly, ensuring pantries have adequate supplies and replenishing as needed, maintaining coffee and ice machines, distributing firm wide distributions, posting client signage, cleaning and making ready workstations/offices for new hires, arranging conference rooms including beverage and food set-ups, covering reception desk as needed, ordering food for meetings, cleaning conference rooms following meetings, collecting glass and dishware, loading, washing and returning items, ordering and stocking vending machine supplies, cleaning out refrigerators and microwaves, monitoring clean desk policy for compliance, performing first level audio/visual equipment checks, reporting issues with audio/visual equipment, assisting other OSAs as needed, working overtime for special projects, and supporting all service lines in addition to primary role. Job requirements include ability to lift 50-75 lbs., general knowledge of audio/visual equipment, high school diploma or equivalent, copier/fax/FedEx/postage machine knowledge, and basic computer skills. Special skills required are ability to multi-task and prioritize, good interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organizational skills, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and admirable punctuality/attendance record.
